In this course, students will learn how to use Oracle Quality to collect, manage and distribute critical quality information throughout their organizations. Students will begin with an introduction to the features, concepts and overall functionality of Oracle Quality. In the process, they will learn how to identify and define quality collection elements, such as failure and thickness for items and other characteristics for vendors and customers as well as create collection plans to suit their requirement. Students will learn to collect and report quality data from throughout the organization by grouping quality characteristics to create measurement, test or inspection collection plans. Students will also learn about quality-based actions that occur automatically when the results of quality data fall outside the specified limits. Students will learn to use the Quality Workbench, and leverage the Skip Lot, and Sampling features offered by Oracle Quality.
Additionally, this course helps to understand how Oracle Quality integrates with other applications like Oracle Work In Process, Purchasing,, Finally, students will learn to create reports, inquiries and Statistical Process Control charts to view global quality data..
